The Big Mac index

Have you ever heard of Burgernomics?

Likely not, but we can agree that this is a very curious term. Well The Big Mac index was created by the magazine The Economist and it is an informal way of measuring the purchasing power parity between two currencies. Since the Big Mac is sold in many countries in the world, The Economist compare how much the burger costs in US dollars in different countries.
